-Greeting – Welcome to podcast #001 -Explain purpose of podcast – The Primary purpose of the podcast is to record life events from us for our children to listen to and share with future generations of family. With this podcast, our children, grandchildren, and beyond, will be able to listen to our stories and know what we were like. This may shed light on to the reasons why we are the way we are, what events had great influence in shaping our lives and why our children are the way they are.

-Inspiration for podcast – -Recently had a good friend pass away and I don’t know if his children knew his full history. I want my children to know the history of their parents. -My book of Mormon podcast – guy read the book of Mormon and gave commentary. My original podcast idea was for me to read my mission journals and give commentary. It was expanded to include my whole life. -I have been planning to create a video documentary style history of the Hallett family. This becomes the start of that project, as we get further along we will be adding video podcasts and documentary interview style to some series in the project.
